Calling All College Skaters!

Whether your greatest skating accomplishment is a swizzle or a double axel, going to college doesn’t mean you have to put your skating on hold. Grab your friends, have some fun, and stay fit while you continue to enjoy the sport you love.

If your school doesn’t have an ISI Collegiate Skating Team, it’s easier than ever to start one now! After your school completes the simple Collegiate Team Registration form and ISI approves it, you can represent your school in any and all ISI competition events throughout the academic year.

Download the Collegiate Team Registration Form.

All team members must be current ISI Individual members. Join or renew your membership now.

There are many different test levels for collegiate skaters of all ages and skating abilities. See the ISI Test Level Requirements list.

There are many competition events to enter. The Open Freestyle events are a great new freestyle program option without required maneuvers. USFS skaters can easily crossover to the Open Freestyle events. In some cases, only one equivalent test level must be registered.

Of course, don’t forget about all the other event options such as Artistic, Spotlight, Footwork, Rhythmic, and Interpretive. It’s also great fun to join an Ensemble, Production or Synchronized skating team with your college friends. The Collegiate age division for synchronized teams only requires the majority of skaters to be between the ages of 18-25 and be affiliated with your college or university.

Refer to the list of the National Event Descriptions.
